The role
The jet grout technician is a full-time position, based in Victoria. Reporting to the project manager you will play a vital role in the successful execution of jet grouting projects across Australia. In this role you will:
- Manage all aspects of the fluid mixing plant, high-pressure grout pumps, and cement storage at the fluid mixing plant
- Mentor and train team members, enhancing their skills and knowledge in operating fluid mixing plants and associated equipment
- Assist with testing, quality checks, and calibration on project sites, ensuring operational efficiency
- Maintain precise records of testing, calibration, and inclinometer readings.
- Provide strategic and technical advice to Project Managers, Engineers, and Supervisors, and assist in planning and sequencing project phases
- Perform work in alignment with Keller HSEQ policies and procedures.
What you bring to the role
- Demonstrated jet grouting experience
- Hold relevant qualifications and high-risk tickets
- Solid understanding of mechanical plant and equipment used in jet grout operations
- Strong communication, conflict resolution, and organisational skills
- Ability to build and maintain productive relationships with colleagues, clients, and subcontractors
- Extensive understanding of geotechnical and foundation systems
