The role
As an Estimator you will play a key role in preparation of budgets and tenders from information provided by customers. You will identify projects, define requirements, and provide technical input of Keller’s capabilities.
You will be responsible for:
- Cultivate and maintain strong client connections
- Manage budgets, tender preparation, reporting, and pre-construction estimates
- Develop supplier relationships and secure competitive quotes
- Evaluate project risks and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Work with the BDM to identify growth areas, market Keller, develop client profiles, maintain strong client relationships, and identify collaboration opportunities
- Coordinate with operations staff to evaluate constructability, production feasibility, and ensure seamless project delivery
- Stay updated on geotechnical techniques, academic/industry practices, and participate in industry functions to enhance expertise and competitiveness
About You
To Succeed in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar position
- Tertiary qualifications in civil or geotechnical engineering
- An understanding of geotechnical and foundations systems
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with stakeholders
- Ability to multi-task and flexibility to switch between tenders
- Effective time management workflow to meet deadlines
- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- A proactive and self-motivated mindset, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
